This is how you change your boot animation.
Part 1
- Create boot animation on your PC. Make sure your pictures are in png format.
- Using your PC, download root explorer, transfer to your gtab, and install it on your gtab.
- Using your PC, download sample star trek boot animation that I made. It is a zip file.
- You can just use this boot animation zip file if you want. If you do, just skip to part 3.
Part 2
- Unzip the bootanimation.zip file you just downloaded on your PC. You should now have a folder name part0 and a text file name desc.txt.
- Replace the png pictures in the folder with your own png pictures.
- Using 7-zip or whatever other zip program you have, select the folder 'part0' and a text file name 'desc.txt' and zip it name 'bootanimation.zip'. Make sure you choose in the compression method "store".
Part 3
- Transfer the bootanimation.zip file into your gtab.
- On your gtab, go into root explorer and copy the bootanimation.zip file you just transfered into your gtab.
- On your gtab, navigate to /system/media.
- On top of the root explorer app, press the button that says "R\W". It should change to "R/O".
- Paste the bootanimation.zip file you just copied and replace the bootanimation.zip file already in there.
- Reboot and enjoy your new boot animation.
